Hello!

My name is Janice...I am a Born Again Christian! I am a half-breed (Ojibwa/Swedish)...I have lived in Michigan my whole life. I'm from the U.P., we're referred to as Yoopers up here! I have five grown children and nine grandchildren. I am a great mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, employee, and co-worker...just ask any of them, they'll tell you! I raised my children on my own. I tried to prepare myself for the day that they would all be out on their own...I'm here to tell you no matter how prepared you think that you are, nothing can prepare you for the hollow feeling inside of you when they finally leave...I think I cried for a straight month...then my daughter talked me into going on dating sites (which I NEVER thought I would EVER do...lol). BUT...here I am! HaHaHa!!! I am looking for THEE man...you know, that man that I will grow old with (MY HUSBAND)! There is one guy out there, just for me...I know this in my heart because I've been praying for him for 13+ years. Maybe I will meet him here! It's worth a try! TeeHee I have high morals...I am faithful (a one man woman)...great communicator and so on and so on...I am intelligent and down-to-earth! I have a sense of humor (hello, I'm a Native American)! I LOVE to SING...dance (at home)...CRAFTS (Beadwork, Basket Making, Crocheting, Knitting...so many others I want to get into)...driving to nowhere...nature, etc.! I love family and friends...I will cherish my husband! Looking forward to finding out if you're the one for me! I have many ideas for a first date...depends on who my first date is with and how long we've corresponded. I won't start out with a date...I would rather correspond for a lengthy time before I even consider a meet or date! SMILE
